Jerry (sorry, didn't notice this thread until now).
I would take the supervisor position.
Reasons why:
1) You are a supervisor. Having a title, is better than no title.
2) Comparing the two salaries,...PERSONALLY, there isn't that much difference per month.
Job #1
$21.30/hour x 40 hours x 4 weeks = $3,408.00/month. Yearly = $40,896.00
Job#2
$21.77/hour x 40 hours x 4 weeks = $3,483.20/month. Yearly = $41,798.40
Job #2 will pay $902.40 MORE than Job #1. This may sound like a lot of money, but (see number 3)...
3) You are planning to go back to school. So ultimately, the small increase in income per month,...isn't really an issue. If your income were to increase by a good couple thousand, then I would not hesitate. But, for less than a grand, it really isn't that much (at least not in my opinion).
4) With the few extra dollars from Job #2,...will you still be as motivated to go back to school, or will you become slightly unmotivated because of the it? Technically speaking,...the lesser paying job will keep you focused on your goal.
