pm me for contact info:

Here is some basic information about my REPU which I'm considering selling:

Model Year: 1974

Color: Blue

Transmission: Manual 4-speed in good condition

Engine: 13B which does not work(I do not have a history on this engine as it came out of another vehicle.) The engine that was rebuilt and working, in the RPU, is now being used in my Rx-4. There is currently no engine installed in the RPU, but I will include it with the purchase and leave it in the bed of the car(w/o the oil pan). Also, it should be noted that the engine has an EGR valve, so it is not from a '74 rotory, but from a later model year, perhaps a '77 model year. A dealer-check on the engine ident number should tell what year the engine was manufactured.

Differential/Drive shaft: good condition

Tires: relatively new(one tire with zero miles(original was slashed while parked) and three with around 200 miles)

Body: some dings and dents, but chassis is straight. Some rust in the usual places. The passenger door was swapped out a couple of owners ago. It is a pale blue with a really good ding in it.

Glass: all good

Exhaust: racing beat header and pre-silencer with around 200 miles of use(maybe less).

Electrical: good, though the grounding contacts from battery cable to chassis needs to be cleaned for better grounding. I simply never got around to this.

Suspension: good(including leaf springs, shocks and struts.

Brakes: I rebuilt the front brakes, but I think they need to be replaced anyway. Good news is that the front calipers are still available at many aftermarket shops(e.g. Kragen for about $40 each....last time I checked). Best to also replace the pads as well. The rear brakes were fine, last time I drove the car.

Interior: Bench seating was redone and in new condition. Dash pad has no cracks. Gauge panel is clean. Carpet has no tears looks great. Door paneling has speaker holes cutout with no speakers installed. Original stereo in dash, but not powered up. Windows funtion properly. Passenger key does not match drivers side door and ignition key(as previously mentioned, the passenger door was swapped out two owners ago). Steering wheel is from an Rx-7 which feels better, but the original will be included with the car.

Radiator/oil cooler: working condition

Asking Price: I will most likely be asking for approx. $800 for this vehicle as listed above. If for example, a buyer did not want the Racing beat exhaust stuff, I would be willing to knock off around $200 off of this price.

Let me know if you still know anyone whom would be interested. I will probably put out an official ad for this car sometime in March.

Thanks again Michael.

shoot me some pics mikey. while i would rather own a 75, i let a 74 slip through for 25 dollars.

couple of questions....

aside from the engine not running, is it in running condition? meaning all id need to do was have an engine installed??

can anything, drivetrain wise, from an rx7 be swapped into it? more specifically, SE suspension bits, if any?

did i mention i wanted some pics?

I'LL ask for some pics. it sounds like you could plop a motor in there an it would run just fine.

truck suspension is totally different from the car's, although the engine would go right in an run strong
