Has anyone tried to swap a T2 front suspension or steering in to a repu.

I ask becouse I just bought mine and drove it from the bay area to cali. No radio. Loose as crap steering and bouncy like no other. I want to find a way to really tighten up the steering and the suspinsion. Staying stock is no point the truck is not in the best try and keep it original 74 condition.

there is a pic floatin around on the net of a repu with the rear suspension of a T2 and supposedly the front hubs.. it is rumored that the guy that owned it worked for mazda and says he uses original parts to get them to fit.. just had to mix and mathc them of other mazdas.. no one has been able to even clarify this..

I saw a pic of the TII rear end and would love to do it down the road. I am just trying to think of what would tighten up the loose *** steering my truck has.

Maybe it is just worn suspension parts? I replaced all the bushings and ball joints in the front end, and the rear bushings and leaf spring u-bolts now the thing rides like it is new and the steering isnt too sloppy. Of course, I paid way more than the initial purchase price of the REPU for all those parts, they added up to about $500 spent at AutoZone.

i read you can instal a newer steering box from like say.. an 84 b2000.. but you need to modify a bit.. should not be hard for the mechanically inclined.. and parts are easier to get..
