Gear Boxz

It was hard to read your post, but I'll try. Ok, you could use a complete transmission from an S1. You can't simply swap gearboxes. The shifter will still fit in the hole and the drive shaft does not need to be changed. You may need to slightly mod the rear tranny mount by 10-20mm though... maybe.
By the way, what's an NZ or uh kiwi doing with a REPU?

It wasn't a direct bolt in to my 74 trucks. The rear tranny mount needed to be modded because the studs are 20mm offset. It has to do with the extra length the 5th gear housing requires. The studs may be in the same spot depending on model year. Blah, you'll see what I'm talking about.
