Well, he recieved the hood, but UPS banged the **** out of it. He sent me pictures today. If you want to contact him you should be able to.

 

Yes I did receive the hood, but it was in a bad condition. There were numerous dime sized "chips" to the clear cot, some pieces were broken clear off, all the damage was done to the edges of the hood.

I tried as hard as possible to see if I could make this work. I checked all around here in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale all week, and it seem that no one can repair chips and dents like that in carbon fiber. Some sort of problem with the clear coat layer. I will send the hood back to you if you PM me an address to you. It seems a shame, because if it were not for the chips, this was an excellent hood. VIS did a good job on this replica.



Sorry that the deal fell through, and sorry that we got off to the initial bad start. Arnetts7 tried as hard as he could to repair the initial snafu that we had, even shipped the hood BEFORE getting paid for it. But I guess that it was not to be.

 

Did you take out insurance on the shipping? If so, you can get some of the cost of the hood back from UPS.
