Hi, I was looking for a set of wheels and I have to chose of +offset of 18mm to 40mm. I have heard of backspace and understand that?. But I was just seeing if anyone could tell me what +40mm offset is???

Well if you already understand backspace you're almost there.

Offset is the distance from the 'centre' of the rim to the mounting face. On a 6 inch wide wheel, 0 offset would equal 3" backspace. +19mm offset would equal 3.75" backspace.
