I'm not sure what the proper formula for calculating this is, but will the following wheel size properly fit the FC without spacers? 16x7 +35 5x114.3

+35 to +40 should fit fine with a 7 inch rim with no spacers

incase you needed to know, the way it is measured is how far from the centerline of the rim the mounting base is offset.. Does that make sense.. ?

if not checck tirerack.com for a better explaination..

Okay, try this. Will 17 X 7 5-114.3 fit on a 1987 GXL without modifying anything?

I have 17x7, 114.3, +38 and they fit fine... would look better with some spacers in the rear though.
