BBQ spray paint works GREAT!!!! no BS! Try not to get too much in the pads path

after you get all the rust off the hat part you could paint it black or something, just use the high temp engine paint. It will help prevent future rust from forming there.



the rotors I bought for my FC (OEM rotors) came painted silver, and i just drove around the block with the old pads installed. After a few brakes the paint was gone on the wear surface but remained everywhere else. Now the new pads are on and the rotor isnt going to rust for a long *** time anywhere that isnt scraped by the pads.



you can do the same thing on used rotors if you get the rust off.

I used to paint min silver before I got cad-plated ones. My advice is to clean 'em real good with a/an anti-rust cleaner, like carb cleaner, then hit 'em hard with paint. you can use sandpaper if you'd like, I see no real problem with that method.

you got a FD, go for the bling bling and buy some powerslot rotors

that wont rust.
