is there a way of getting them off the rotors, unfortunately i spent all my money and have no money for the zinc coated group buy.

so any suggestions?

go brake real hard a couple times.

FikseRxSeven 10-14-2003 11:20 PM

i dont have rust on where the pad touches the rotor, im talkin more about the center part where the rotor meets the wheel and the 2-3 inch area around it

lol yea, drive your car a bit, you dont even need to brake hard since pads are always in contact with the rotors just driving will wear off the first layer, a couple long stops will get that **** off right away.

braking hard will only clean some areas and other areas will stay as rusted as before.

take off wheels, get intake/throttle cleaner (in my experience it seems stronger then brakekleen), spray on, get small wire brush (size of toothbrush), and start brushing. polish them like your rims if you must.

other then that, nope no way i know of.

dont do that on the rotor surface itself, thats just for the part that the wheels mounts to. on the rotor itself i have no idea what to do.
