I remember last year when the weather would get around 35-40* I could not hook up even at 30-50 mph. I was using kumo exsta supra 270/40/18, i know there shity tires but is there a tire that will last me atleast 10k miles, that doesnt cost a whole alot(im tryn not to go over 200 buck each)

How much difference will the better tires make? im thinking of gettin a 17" wheel and puttin drag radial on them. good tire anyone?

I doubt drag radials will stick in 35-40 degree temps unless you do a burnout in your driveway to warm them up.

thanks for all the help with traction vosko. I think im leaning towards the nitto 555r2 myself. I didn't know that a road race/street tire hook decent in a straight line(I think thats right). I'll only be rolling when I let her rip. It scares me when I loose traction rolling 40, 50 mph(some of you know where im coming from).

I here that there also suppose to last a good while. Why didnt you point me these in the other forum? I did a big search last night I found out about them. Im trying to stay at low cost also. Im leaning towards the Enkie nto3+m 17x8.5 17X9.5. or either get the 5-zigen tyhpoons, who knows.

but thanks..
