Run high tire pressure and it will lessen the chance of bending a wheel. This was advice from a tire rack guy that had SSR's, which are a light one peice forged wheel. They too have problems with bending.

How hard/easy is it to bend a wheel?

I've heard 2 places, wheeloptions and tirerack, both say that they have troulbe with SSRs bending. (Crap! I like SSR wheels, and I wanted those new GT2s.) Wheeloptions even stopped carrying them.

I'm also interested in the 5zigen FN01Rs, but I'm a little concerned about the bending thing too...

Wait...Aren't the stock wheels like 15lbs? Aren't they pretty strong?

Jesus christ, as long as you aren't offroading and you are careful when you drive the SSR's will be fine.
