Is it hard? What will I need? Will the wiring harness have to be changed? And if so

what will have to be changed? And is there a website that has a full desciption of all

of the above? Sorry for asking so many questions, but I have to learn some how. Thanks for your help

This is a big, time consuming, expensive project. You need to have almost everything from a Turbo II. Engine, transmission, driveline, and rearend. Also wiring harness, with an additional ecu for tuning and what not. It would be alot more cost effective to just have the TII and upgrade from there.

if you are gonna put a tII in an n/a you might as well do it right and get a haltec and a 20b. i too hav an '87 n/a and that is what im gonna do this winter.

yep, if your gonna do it go all out. Only reason i didn't go 20b is becuz 13bt can make plenty of power anyhow, and i didn't have enough for the 20b too

too much work involved, like they said just buy a TII. with few mods u'll be kicking some *** out there.

i wouldnt have that much free time to do the conversion. but if i had a 20b lying around, i think i'd FIND time to do a conversion

What is a good source for used 13BT engines? I've heard so many bad things about the JapSpec motors from people on here.



Corksport is local to me...



I know the 20B's are $$$ but curious what does one do for the flywheel and counterweight since they are all automatics with the flexplate.
