What is better (on the exhaust side) a T3 or the stock Hitachi turbo? You'll have to bear with me, I don't know **** about **** when it comes to turbos.

T3....but you still have to do the same as a T4...so why bother getting a smaller turbine and get either a hybrid or a full T4...

and since some of us have droped several grand in to tools there, unlike others... and since I just picked up about $350 worth in the last 2 weeks alone you can kiss my *** again..
Umm...some of us haven't been doing this for 32 years jerk! That could be the reason some of us haven't spent our life saving buying tools.

You can have the stupid manifold/turbine...I keep thinking about the TWO good rotor housings I got out of a WATER LOCKED ENGINE... [/quote]

One little, two little, three little rotor housing,... four little, five little, six little Rotor housing... all sitting on my shelf...

What do you mean by "but you still have to do the same as a T4..."??? I wouldn't be able to use the stock ECU (with my SAFC) with a T3? I realize that I'd have to step up to larger injectors, that's not a big deal. I just don't want to have to go drop $1500 for a new EMS, and have to pay someone to tune it.

A T3 turbine is NOT a bolt on. You would STILL have to get a T3 manifold and bolt that on. Then get an actuator/wastegate hooked up. Cap the water lines. Fabricate a front pipe...all the same things you would have to do with a T4.

and your still going to need a EMS to run the larger injectors as well...

Ok dude Ill tell you what to do. get a new manifold, they are a dime a dozen in the junkyard. purchase and High flow or hybrid turbine ( stock exhaust and CRA) run the 2 720cc injectors in the secondary tuning your fuel curve out with the S-AFC. You can run this with the stock Intercooler as well. This will make over 300hp at 14 psi. Then your car will outrun stock corvettes depending on the year model. No matter what year it is you can watch him shift the gears in that boat as you sit beside him.

I run a Turbonetics High Flow turbine cuz my Knight sports one died!! Greddy 2core FMIC 720cc inj. in the secondaries. Using a Power FC cuz everything else is really a waste of time. With this setup I make 327.9 hp at the wheels or 362 at the flywheel on KSP Attain's dyno.

I think your gonna end up having too many problems with fitment and setup if you run a full turbine with a wastegate like that. I think you will be suprised at how fast a 300hp FC3S is. Im sure Dragon remembers when I used to drive up his tailpipe and he had a To4E........hehehehee

Ranzo, is your engine street ported or anything?

BTW, how many FC's have passed through your hands over the years? I'm still on my first.
