So I went out to the garage tonight to put my turbo and manifold on my 13B-RE in my Turbo II, and I can't. I have a Greddy log manifold and the wastegate flange hits the motor mounts. Have any of you done this swap with a single turbo? And if so, what manifolds are you using? Please help!!!!!!

So notch the motor mount... ?

Most of us with TII use the HKS mani, but you've got an RE... if the HKS fits, it works great. Dunno why the GReddy has any particular problems though.

Are you using the greddy cast manifold? Sounds like it...I know the tubelar one ( TD06 kit manifold) will fit..and so will the HKS ss manifold.. thats the one I'm using on my RE/FC...you might consider a custom one..there are a few that make them.

if i remember correctly the greddy one puts the wastegate runner under the exhaust runners, im 99% sure my HKS log puts the wastegate runner above the exhaust runners.

might try seeing if anyone will swap manis with you on the forums and see if it works.

Yeah , the wastegate runner is under the manifold, and thats what is causing my problem. The Greddy manifold I have is very nice, I just had it ceramic coated, and I would hate to get rid of it. Do you know who sells the HKS manifold with the WG runner on top?

Maybe it's because the re mounts are a little different.

Yeah, they are different. I got that manifold from you, lol! You should have told me it wouldn't work . I think I have something figured out but I am still maybe looking for an HKS cast manifold or a GOOD stainless one.
