Smog Pump Thingy
#1
I am rebuilding my engine (12a) right now and I took the smog pump off a while back to free up a few horses. anyways I noticed that it had rather high air pressure flowing from it and was wondering if it could be adapted to work as a supercharger and if it was would it even give any increase in power.

i dont think that the air pump can flow enough air to actually make a difference, you might feel that its pushing a lot of air, but keep i mind that its coming out of a little hole, so there might be some pressure, but not much volume. you would probably get more power by taking it out and reducing the drag from the main pulley (and reducing a good amount of weight also)

Oh not before I chime in. an airpump cannot create enough pressure to make ANY difference. Better off buying one of those "tornado" things for your intake pipe Type-R for life yo!!!!
