I think I'm on tranny #5 or 6 now.. lol, all of them went from miss shifts, the FD and FC trannys have a problem with the shift linkage catching the edge of the 5th/Reverse linkage while they are engaged with the 3/4 gear linkage and it trys to push the shift linkage in to 3rd and 5th at the same time and since 3rd has more tork the 5th gear syncro and locking collar loose the fight. I never had a problem with breaking them though until I put in my triple plate ORC clutch so I think the Tork shock has a little bit to do with it distroying the 5th gear reverse syncro set. The rest of the trannys pretty bullet proof though I have seen BP motors that started twisting the out put shafts, but none of them actually broke off.

Yeah I know of one of those 10 minutes with the sledgehammer to get the driveshaft out of the tranny Damn bridgeports
