Your heart lies with a rotary? Why? It's just a chunk of metal.

As soon as you start getting free stuff or paychecks from a particular manufacturer, don't get brand loyalty. Brand loyalty is what lemmings are into. Brands should have customer loyalty and cater to the fringe groups such as us and build more low cost (and most likely low production volume) cars to make us shout their names in the streets. But until then, I'll keep my options open.

Rutt, love that dumb kid. "...and that, children, is why we don't run around the pool...". But those FJ's always have been too thrashy sounding to me so I've never warmed up to them. Plus they didn't stick around too long so they don't litter the junkyards as much as any SR does. I've never seen many good examples of them. Other than the Skylines and Silvia/Gazelles of the era, I can't think of what other models in Japan they were offered in. In either turbo or n/a versions.

so you have a S-4 FC or whats better known as the Zenki. Zenki's suck for lots of reasons but they have thier strong points as well. I suggest you take your engine and rebuild it using FD rotor housings, FD stationary gears FD springs on all the seals fitted to your Zenki Rotors and Eccentric shaft, also use the FD oil pressure regulator. incorporate all of that with a Side Port. This engine will withstand the rigors of whatever you are gonna throw at it and it will bolt right back into your car without a hitch. since you have only spent about 2000 dollars on this rebuild you will have enough money to go get a Kouki wiring harness and a Power FC to go with all that.

Now you have the foundation to create Lots of reliable power.

Hmm you would need the kouki wiring harness and all to facilitate the Power FC. Microtech is a different standalone.
