Overboosting To4e

Sorry about that, I guess I was too tired and just read "wastegate" and "intercooler piping" and got totally lost on the context.
After I read it again, I realized you were talking about the vacuum source.

Ok found out the problem with the screw ... the grooves on the wastegate had worn out so i took the top off and had it machined and now have a new screw in it.... I did check everything is the same so it should work fine.... hopefully.. Ok i have the 7psi spring.. how do i take the boost to the minimum possible boost level that is 7 psi.. I mean how do i adjust the screw.. should i loosen it to the max or tighten it... I think i should loosen it but just confirming

The screw is designed to hold the gate closed a little longer if needed. At 7 psi the gate should be fully open, it will not open only at 7 psi... So the screw is there to adjust how early the wastegate opens, if your drivng along and can hear it opening at 3 psi and you feel you are losing power a little, adjust the gate a little tighter, if you are opening at 6 psi and its a fast power drop as the gate slams open, you need to loosen it a little to get a smooth transition of the gate.
