I do believe that if you add an oil cooler on to the stock unit you'll have to add a thermostat as well as the thermostat for the stock oil cooler is IN the cooler itself. So, it comes out the front cover, into the first oil cooler where, if the oil is cold, gets bypassed by the thermostat sending COLD oil to the second cooler. You want to avoid that as it can burst the oil cooler when the oil is cold and it'll take longer for the car to warm up. I just ordered a Mocal 235 series 25 row...perfect size and much larger than stock. I originally ordered a 115 series 34 row. It'll fit (34 row) but it's tall and very thin in width. The 235 series 25 row row is actually larger than the 115series 34 row. Go to www.batinc.net to see the coolers and measurements. Setrab makes great coolers as well.

ah man michel i wish you would have told me that you ordered it...becasue harrison and i were going to order some and the guys there were going to give us a nice disount! since we were going to buy a couple of them...oh well

i'm very interested in an oil cooler upgrade.. the 200$ deal seems good Jspec, got any info you can give me? I went to the bat site.. looks good too, but i'll also need the lines? where can i get those if i want to make my own kit? And as for a duct, what about that?

hell no! Just one. 10 feet of -1 is enough to do the d/s oil cooler.
