I do believe that if you add an oil cooler on to the stock unit you'll have to add a thermostat as well as the thermostat for the stock oil cooler is IN the cooler itself. So, it comes out the front cover, into the first oil cooler where, if the oil is cold, gets bypassed by the thermostat sending COLD oil to the second cooler. You want to avoid that as it can burst the oil cooler when the oil is cold and it'll take longer for the car to warm up. I just ordered a Mocal 235 series 25 row...perfect size and much larger than stock. I originally ordered a 115 series 34 row. It'll fit (34 row) but it's tall and very thin in width. The 235 series 25 row row is actually larger than the 115series 34 row. Go to www.batinc.net to see the coolers and measurements. Setrab makes great coolers as well.
