Has anyone changed there oil coolers lines to braided with An fittings, and maybe the single oil feed line. I was looking for sizes of AN fittings and maybe length of the braided lines. I think they should flow a little better, or I could just buy a kit that comes with everything. Do you know where I could get some?

It would save you a lot of money if you had a nearby hydralics shop, that could just reuse your stock fittings and add SS hose to them...

Around here I don't know any hydro shops, plus they probally don't speak english. Just have to meet the right people and get the hook ups!

I know the front cover and filter base banjo bolt size is 18mmx1.5. You'll need a TIGHT radius 90 degree to go from the front cover adapter and clear the A/C stuff. A 60 or 90mm for the oil filter base. Again you'd need a metric adapter 18mmx1.5 to 10 AN (two of them). The oil cooler lines themselves terminate in a 22mmx1.5 fitting so use the 22mmx1.5 to 10AN adapter. I can't remember off hand if it's male or female. I haven't installed my stuff yet and just purchased both ($8) each. www.batinc.net has everything although I don't think that'll help you in Japan! I'd estimate you'll need about 10 ft. of 10AN braided hose which should give you a bit of wiggle room if you screw something up :-)

In case you decide to skip the hydraulics shop,

Racing Beat makes a "kit". Already has the adapters

and is cut to proper length. Pricey though $225, IIRC.

Works great. Messy install.

{ed} Corksport.com make one too, I believe. {/ed}

I thought their kit was fro an FC? And the FC adapters are 16mm and 18mm, not both 18mm like the FD.

you can do a single oil cooler kit with a/n fittings for less than $200 including fittings/aftermarket oil cooler. PM me or get ahold of me on AIM...jspecracerseven
