I am doing the swap and install. I have heard that you have to get rid of the nipples from the LIM that ran the twins and the EGR stuff has to be hacked off if I am not mistaken. Then someone else said that you need to dent the downpipe for it to clear. I have not started yet since my motor is still not here but it should be here hopefully soon.

Vosko, chime in again and let me know how to do this since you have it done already. What all was required. RP seems to be the only shop that makes it out to be so bad, a few of the other shops say it really isn't much work to make it fit. I almost went GT3540 for this exact reason though.

lou you got a PM.

to install the T78 all you need to do is grind your LIM a little bit. besides that nothing else!

its a hell of a lot better than BANGING in your freaking frame rail like some turbo's make you do to install it.

i'm pretty sure the only thing judge ito had to do was grind down the LIM a little besides that it was a drop in.

That is why I could use some more money to finish this stage of my project. Vosko is few steps ahead of me in that dept. I sometimes wich I would have went Haltech instead of PFC since it replaces the wiring harness. I still may switch over, I am not sure yet. I went with the PFC because of how easy it was to install. I need to finish my rear end and then start on looks if I want to have an overall great car instead of just a fast one. So the hood, sideskirts, and wheels are next on my list for exterior mods. I believe I am done with the engine bay for now. Tranny and rear end are left.

cool, i am not really worried, because RP seem like the pros, and there is no one else around here that i trust to touch my car.....besides bryan at bnr, but i do not know about his knowledge of this turbo kit and the like....

what kind of ignition do you use? i was thinking, since my car would be at rp for a couple of weeks, tha ti would just go with the jacobs rotary pro pak, because that is what they use......

input?
