If you steal my sponsorship than I will steal your car. I figure as long as noone else applies than I am a shoe in. So please, for the sake of me, don't apply. :bigok:

Ouch.... that's ok, your car only runs once or twice a month anyways. Mine will at least stay running. Do you want me to install some tow hooks to drag you around? You can at least feel like your car is running. Pretend my exhaust you hear is yours, or we could always make a cd of an exhaust clip and play it while you get towed around. You could wave at all the 8th graders, and put your mack down.

You understand? Cool, I have emailed him and told him what's up with my car and some of my other cars so he knows I am not new to this scene. Thanks and by the way, Vosko, give up.

I am the same lane_change. My car started a while back to be a fast street car. When I bought it, I was told it had a Pettit SP and I have the paperwork for it and it was only a few months old with less than 3000miles on the new motor. So I bought it figuring I had a good platform to start building off of. I got my FMIC, DP, MP, Cat-Back, Fluidyne, Intake, fuel pump, cluch, flywheel, and PFC, within the first month or two. Then I drove it for a while and raced it at a few places. It never seem to run as well as I thought it should. I had my PFC tuned at XS for my mods just for a rough setting and it was excessively rich, I was hitting 100% DC all the time @12psi. So I knew something was wrong. It would start to pop alot during races and I replaced everything I could think of, wires, plugs, fuel filter, cleaned my injectors, and it was still rich as sin. About 1-2 months later it popped on me and I took the motor apart and it was one of the worst port jobs that I have seen. I am posotive that the Pettit bill I recieved was bullshit, I don't know if the guy I bought it from new someone there or what but the ports were rough and they went up instead of down and were not very large either. So I more or less modded up a POS motor and it blew up on me.

So I bought a new motor from BNR and had it race ported and ordered a T78 from Jason wih all the other goodies to go with it. My car is not put back together yet and I am not sure on power either. I have a 3bar MAP sensor as well to install and I hsould be done by mid Feb. with my car. Then I need to buy all my rear end parts and axles, toe links, trailing arms, PPF and the rest of the breakable parts to replace them and get back on the track. My roll cage has been sitting in the garage for a couple months now.

I was at a race in KC, Missouri and it was rained out so I decided to cruise the streets to see some of the shops in KC. I was sitting at a stoplight waiting for the cars across to go straight and I was going to turn right. Then some idiot not paying attention ran the red light and T-boned one of the cars coming across spinning him around and he hit the front of my car. So I bought a new bumper and hood(not yet but soon) for my car so it has been a nightmare lately. Lots of **** at the same time, over $15,xxx within the last 6-8 months. Fun ****.

my motor was done by pettit, and i hope that one day when i have to dissect the engine that i will find a better job than you did......

sounds cool.

who is doing all of the manifold work for you? i have heard that, from Rp, that there is some pretty extensive manifold work that has to be done in order to fit that kit for the size of the DP and the like...welding and more ****.....

just wondering.....i still want that to4R, but i am not sure if i can get the same power as a t78...
