No luck here either, but if that is true that it is a co-pay for $10,000 then I would have to want to spend $10,000 of my own money to utilize the $10,000 that they are offering. So that kind of sucks considering I don't have $20,000 worth of **** that I want to buy from a dealer. I want $20k worth of engine/tranny work not some new seats and a body kit that would cost me even more to install all the while having to go to their shows/races. I don't know, is that the way it really is? Congrats on getting approved though. Maybe you'll still get called Vosko, who knows.

Well I just got off the phone with them. I was also approved for a $10k co-pay sponsorship where they will pay "up to 52%." This sounds kind of weird. I am not sure if I am going to sign this contract when I get it. I feel like I will have to comit myself to races/shows for nothing, but a discount on parts, parts I already have or don't need. Like I posted above, I will have to spend $10k of my own money at one of there businesses so that I can use my $10k co-pay sponsorship and recieve "up to" 52% off. So some items, that are on closeout, will be given at 52% off while others will be like 2% off or some ****.

Has anyone read this contract and seen exactly what is available and how cheap any of it is? I am a huge skeptic and it seems that an awful lot of people are getting approved for this thing from this board alone, I wonder if this is just some big scam? If it is, then I say, we get some mass lawsuit to at least get the $79 back for all the shipping, t-shirts, stickers, etc... stuff back. I am not going to get screwed if I can help it. We'll see I guess. Bt anyways, I got approved, Vosko, I am sure you will get a call this week as well since we both applied at the same time.

lane you dont have to use all the cash you can use as much as you want. and it is a co-pay up to 52% off. you if they have a part that costs joe blow 1000 you get it for like 500 or so... now you have 9500 left to play with. and only 4 races in a year...easy there requirements are very easy...its 4 local or national events. so that could be scca autocross or drag races..as long as they are ligit events..and you get pics of you and you ride with the logo showing. considering its only a partial they gave us its a good deal.. tell me you couldnt use a haltech or an nice turbonetics upgrade to you car? :yum:

But if I wanted to use the entire $10,000 sponsorship, I would more or less have to spend $10,000 of my own money and get $20,000 worth of stuff. I don't have $20,000 worth of stuff that I could go buy. I have $20,000 worth of work I could have done, such as tranny, engine, rear end, paint, etc.. that I could do, but $20,000 worth of items to purchase, nope, that's alot to buy. I already have most of the expensive stuff purchased for my car. I am not against this deal, it just seems like you have to spend your money at there authorized shops in order to use the money and you have to pay at least 48% of the listed price. So more or less they sell to you at cost and you have to promote there business at shows, races, etc.. Kind of like free advertising for them since they aren't really out any money selling to you at cost. I am just real skeptical about this, but I am still game to play, what's the worst that could happen, I lose $79, who cares? I am going to do it, but I was much more interested before I found out it was a co-pay. I want to see how many items are for sale at 52% off, it may be just one thing that is that cheap while most things may only be discounted 5%, you never know.

i will let you guys know by the weekend. i tracked my package and it should arrive by friday, or at least that is what the ups site says.

i know the **** seems really quirky..this is why i have repeatedly remained a skeptic until the **** comes in.....

there are ways around the copay ****, i hope. otherwise, they will not be getting crap from me, and i will have the same little car that i do now, happy and proud....

I want to see people "not" get approved because so far it seems that everyone that applies is getting approved. This sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Has anyone applied a while back and not got approved? Vosko, I am sure you will be getting your call any day now. You have one of the nice cars that applied. I applied on 1-15-02 and got my approval phone call on 2-4-02. When did everyone else apply and when did you get your call back saying you were approved? Also, has anyone got approved for more than $10k or got a full sponsorship instead of this co-pay bullshit?

i'm trying to figure out if its even worth it if i get the copay. the only things that i need for my car are a big brake kit and possibly a body kit and maybe new wheels. i would actually rather get the sponsorship $$$$$ and pay off a LARGE chunk of my debt. oh well back to buying scratchoffs

I completely agree. I would much rather have $10k for tranny work, motor work, credit card payments, etc... I just don't have $10k worth of **** still to buy outside of wheels and a body kit. I could always buy seats and sll my R1 seats, buy a steering wheel and sell my stock one, etc.. to try and get some cash back. Or just buy stuff from them at 1/2 off and then sell it to other people to try and make some cash off this deal to help pay for my debt. I don't know, I am just going to wait and see what the contract says when it shows up to see if it is worth it or not.

The sticker color choices sucked ***. Orange and Silver, Red and Silver, etc.. ugly colors. We'll see.
