Which knock sensor?

way back in the day my friend had a j&s in his car, and he put some octane lowerer (BATMAN's idea, that cost 2 engines, yes he is an idiot), in the car. we went driving and the j&s was going off, we thought the j&s was wigging out, because they used to do that, they used to wig out and break. so we ignored it and motor pops.

TUNE IT RIGHT, A GUAGE WILL NOT SAVE YOUR ENGINE

Bottom line, Haltech does not officially support a knock sensor.



There's a guy trying to drum up support to build (and sell) knock sensor systems that would easily integrate with almost any Haltech EMS on the other forum.

The system is simple. The Haltech can be toggled to accept a potentiometer input to retard timing. All you need is a knock sensor circuit that outputs a sliding resistance versus knock sensor intensity input. Easier said than done.
