Yeah, thats what I'm sayin...I dont think it would work, unless it was rigged up some way.

Also, what is RRE? link? cheapest I've seen the 44mm is $395..

You would have to make an adapter. One end would have the flange matching the manifold, and the other end would have a v-band flange.

My friend bought one and it has leaked at idle since day 1. We both put together turbo kits at around the same time. We had a big debate on whether or not to use the knock off or go with a Tial. I went with a Tial 44mm, and in retrospect he wishes he did the same thing.

Road Race Engineering (DSM Gods!)

$365 and they had them in stock. Cheapturbo couldn't get them over a 2 month period. I'm not bashing them, I bought my T04R from them.

I was sent one of those with my davinchi kit. I could not get it to open at all. I tried several spring rates. I also tried it with an authentic HKS spring to no avail. I eventually went ahead and bought the real HKS wastegate and it worked fine the first try. I compared the two and the only difference is the real one has a better material for a diaphragm. The generic one has shitty flimbsy material and I don't k now that its shaft is perfectly straight. I would not reccomend it to anyone.

Martin's doesn't work either...

The company selling them won't refund ANY defects either.... Ask me how I know.

I'm using the Feed Sonic knock-off sold by various shops on ebay. I had a high end prototyping shop machine the flanges flat, cut the hks wg flange off, counter skin the hole, and weld on the Tial 44mm v-band flange.

I bought my Tial WG from Roadrace Engineering. I say this in no uncertain terms-THEY ARE THE RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. I have never been treated so poorly by a shop in the 6 years I've been modifying my car. Incidentally, my friend that bought the knock off wastegate was present for the entire exchange with them on a 3-way call. After the call he decided not to buy a Tial wastegate from them. The only reason I bought it from them was because I was under a tight schedule at the time and couldn't find any other shop that had it in stock even though I was willing to pay a $100 premium just to avoid doing business with them.

Anyway it's on the car and works great so life is good

That's strange, I had a pretty good experience with them. I emailed asking if they had them in stock, they did, and it shipped the same day I ordered.
