i had an El Cheapo brand on my car when i first installed the single. 2 days later, Wg stuck shut.... i saw the 25 psi boost gauge peg the needle before peices went tailpipe bound.... cheap wastegate costed me a Gt35R single turbo and a low milage engine.

Do yourself a favor... eat ramen for 2 weeks... spend the extra money and get a good WG.

"You get what you pay for."

Please, stop supporting these ***** who make cheap knock-off's.

I know it's tempting for this cheap price, but if you got the money, pay for the REAL stuff.

I know, I know. I haven't cheaped out on anything yet. I just thought i was gettin an authentic wg for affordable and it didn't happen, so you automatically look at the cheap stuff.

Pisses me off to hear that it's blowing peoples motors. Unfortunate that they aren't liable in some way.

Yes, I realize the temptation to get cheap on the WG is very high!

Especially since a GOOD WG can cost as much as your turbo (i.e. HKS Race / GT or Tial 46)...

But, if you think about it, the WG keeps control of boost and uncontrolled boost can cost you a lot more than the savings going with the cheap knock-off.

Engine rebuild and replacing a turbo is not cheaper!

They SHOULD NOT be liable for any damage produced. If a person buys a knockoff then it's THEIR fault. If you were a skydiver would you buy a knockoff parachute to save some money?

Well I'm sure that they don't consider their own products knock off. If they are a legitimate business, then they have to sell a product that works how they advertise it, or face retaliation in law suits and such. For false advertising if nothing else. I see it happen every day.

they do consider it a knock off "hks style replica's" etc, is a fancy way of saying "knock off"

considering theyve had like 5 different ebay names and change their company name every couple months, right now its like stone mountain or something.
