A t04e aint gonna do 600hp flywheel or rwhp. Maybe a hybrid with different trim wheels and A/R's and **** but not a regular t04e.

If you want 600hp you need a t-66, t-78 sized turbo. plus all the other **** to go with it :yum:

what kind of BOV you gonna run? I would recoment the HKS super sequential. Its i think the best one the market and no leaks.

Honestly I would go with a different intake. I like the Blitz sus power intake. And the tuboneticks turbo is not the trubo I would go with either. I would go with apexI for the turbo. Did you buy these part allready?
I would take these comments with a grain of salt, I would never recommend the HKS ssbov to anyone using a good sized single turbo. I would say you would be good with a Tial, HKS racing, Greddy Type-R, or even the old Sard racing bov. The ssbov will not be able to vent off enough boost and you will have compressor surge.. plus it just sounds like a chirpy little bird.

The Blitz intake is a good one, but why spend that much $$$. You can pick out a K&N cone filter that will fit, they are usually about $40 and will not flow LESS than a Blitz or any other brand as long as it is sized properly. The turbo you choose is up to your application, telling someone they should get xxx turbo for no reason makes no sense. The apexi kit is a great street turbo and spools fast, but the exhaust housing is rather small so you will be limited on your ultimate power output (400rwhp probably). Plus when the time comes for a rebuild on the turbo, or if you send an apex seal through it, consider it history because you will need a new turbo.. no rebuilds on these things in the US.

I think your goal of 11.5 is attainable with a TO4E easily, as long as it is sized properly. We need to know the specs on it (exhaust A/R, wheel trim, etc.) before we can say for sure.

400rwhp is 11.5's all day. 600hp is a pretty high goal unless you plan on going full race, pump gas won't cut it.

I'll look into that HKS ingnition system thanks. Also i was wondering where i coudl get a list of turbos to upgrade to i'd like to get arounf 600 hp when i'm all done. i relize i'm prob goin to have to get some other stuff to do that but if any one has any suggestions my goal is a 11.5 Quater mile.

You don't need 600hp to run mid 11's.. but you'll never run a mid 11 with those Kumho's, even with 2000HP.

I disagree, kumho racing tires are the ****, not drag tires mind you, but very good none the less. Its what i use to keep the rear end from sliding around on me for daily driving.

94 is right, the kumho tires are the ****. i used them for over a year on the autox trax, but mind you, it is NOT an optimal drag tire. period.

do not jump on that guy danno, he is new, and from what i gather, in regards to his comments, he is repeating things that have been replied to his threads in the last 48 hours. like the BOV and the blitz intake.....

do what you will, spend it too. what ever makes you happy, rx7kid, is for you and you only. i, agree with some of the others, and do not agree on spending the $$ on a high dollar name brand intake, UNLESS, i am plannign on keeping the stock set up, and not doing too many other mods. that way, the bay will have a little class and still be very functional. as far as the turbo is concerned, every turbo has plenty of potential, like the above mentioned, is affected by different trim rates and such, but every turbo has a limit. just as the stock ones do....and your single turbo should have a filter with it already........and a Dp....and such....

should also state that the car has a relocated battery to the passenger side bin, the HKS air filer is being used because it's th eonly one i can get to fit between the turbo and the intercooler pipes. ( at least that's waht i'v been told ) 600 hp would be nice and i understand that is a ton but that's my long term goal like 3-4 years down the road. Running Mid 11's is my current goal long as i'm hitting Mid to Low 11's i'll be very very happy. I realize people have diff views on parts. My main concern is with my specs will it be possable to run Mid to Low 11's or am i going to have to get other stuff done and what would that be?

All you need is your basic bolt ons, fuel upgrades, and a decent sized turbo to make 400rwhp. That t04e is capable of that.

hell, there are plenty of folks here that are running 11's on the stock motor and turbos, some ported, but some not. get the bolt ons, and a fuel system, and have an ecu tha thas the appropriate tuning parameters, and you will be VERY PLEASED...
