I was running a 1/2 bridge at 18-19 psi with a 67-1 AR 1.15 p trim. I was using 89 octane gas and no water injection. I never put it on the dyno, but I can guarantee it was over 500rwhp. When you are embarassing 6 and 700hp gtr's you really don't care what the dyno says.

You know if less people were worried about going above 15psi, there would actually be dyno sheets over 450rwhp on pump gas.
At the time I was running that setup I was of a mind that if it blew it blew and I would turn the boost down a little. I would not ever try that again without water injection. With the wi I have seen higher boost, Dragon was boosting 24 psi.
For the longest time when I ran the apexi kit, my boost would hit 20 or slightly more then bleed down to 18psi by redline. Then with the t62-1 I had it solid at 18psi across the board. The guy who bought the car said the engine just blew. It had over 35k miles on it, not bad when you think about it.
Yea, 35K isnt bad at all for a engine your working the **** out of and hitting 18-20psi. Hell that would last me 2-3 years and I'd prob rebuild it just for the hell of it after that much time.
I dont expect mine to live past about 12K miles, I figure pulling the engine will be a once a year thing lol BTW - 94touring, how much power did you make with a T62-1 @ 18psi? STEPHEN |
Yeah that engine lasted about 2 and a half years. I was never able to dyno the T62-1. I dynoed the apexi at 15psi back when I had first put it on at 385rwhp with 350rwtq. The power difference between the two turbo's was enormous though.
