How thick of plate should I use to cut up some flanges from?I work at a fab shop and they garbage alot of plate that is the right demensions for flanges.I have some 1/2" thick plate here right now.

3/8" is normal, 1/2" will work fine. What steel is it?

I have an AutoCAD drawing of a 13b flange if you need one.

Oh, and yeah.. 3/8 or half is good.

I'd use the 1/2 you have there. When welding the tubes to it you will have less chance of warping the flanges.

Cool,Thanks guys.I plan on using a Turbo II exhaust manifold gasket as a template.I can cut the external demensions tomorow with my torch until I get the gasket here tho.
