And It is my own fault for not clariflying what wastegate I would be recieving. I have learned a lesson and will not buy any more turbo "kits" Since I could have and in some cases actually found all of these parts myself. So if you could please forward the $125 for the jet hot and V band I would appreciate it. Thank you Dave |

I already mentioned to Justin about contacting the better business bureau and possibly the FBI interstate commerce commission. All i am asking for a a Tial wastegate that will work with the flange for the dump tube. You wanna go the way of PFS and loose any possible future with the rotary community then keep up the wise ass remarks. Other wise get me my ******* wastegate and be quick about it. You can run your mouth at me once you have refunded my cash ($100 that you owe for jet hot that was never done) or you provide me with the V band and hardware that was supposed to be in the kit that I have never recieved. You look like a complete ass trying to run your mouth at a unsatisfied customer to whom you own money.

All I'm trying to do is point you in the direction of resolve; not try to resolve it myself. You gave my your number directly yes. On my cellphone at the airport. Trying my hardest to take care of you in a timely manner.. I was on vacation. I passed the information directly off to mark who processed the order. I don't do any of that.. I have NONE of the shop account numbers. I know NONE of the suppliers. I do NOTHING at the shop. I merely advertized. Call it what you want, but I thought I clearly explained that the TIAL was NOT the gate included in the pic and the pictures were to clarify that the fitmant was good, and there were no clearance issues. I spent tons of time posting pictures and describing things trying NOT to let anything get confused. I've stated a hundred times that I'm the middle man passing information between the customer and the shop. I've been trying my ass off to get out of the middle so things can be resolved. I'm not helping at all. That much is obvious. You have a problem and I take down the information, from there I move the information to the shop, sometimes after a day of fighting with work to get on the phone, or trying to get someone away from work at the shop to answer the phone. I've anwered every question everyone has answered. I've offered my personal money to try and help people.. I don't know what else an INVESTOR is supposed to do? I'm on the phone all damn day trying to get you and Martin updates and pass them directly to you. I tried to get the kit to you when I was home in MD so I could help you install it.. I have nothing to do with the money for the jet hot. The reason you didn't get it was so that we could cut out the wee/2 weeks it takes to get **** back from them.. You should have been refunded. I talked to Ron who in turn has to talk to Mark (who manages the accounting) to figure out who didn't do what. I've been on this forum for a long time.. And tried to help as many people as I could.. as often as I could. You really think I'd just up and start ******* people over? Especially since there is NOTHING in it for me..? I didn't know anyone would be unhappy.. I based my advertisement here off my hapiness with the kit I have. I've done my best to try to halp with the little bit I can do.. |

Just out of curiosity; did you get the chance to run on the WG spring alone? Is the boost creep still an issue? I ask only because no other gates besides the HKS will fit the manifold without modification. I had to weld an adaptor to mine to accept the TIAL. I'd give you mine if it was a direct replacement. I want to make sure this deal isn't closed until you are taken care of. Let Ron know what to fix and he will get it done. Feel free to ship the DP back if you would like it fixed. wow all this aggravation but again this happens...... keep in mind how much other kits cost..... you guys are paying $1k-1500 less than competitors...... i would hope its correct but if its not i would be a little more forgiving... although i know how it is to get screwed when buying stuff.... hell i bought a $1600 intercooler kit from greddy and they forgot to give me a complicated IC pipe.... you all saw how much fun i had...... customer service is everything on the internet

A quick note that Ron has been a super good Guy. He will get things fixed and hopefully the next run of kits will be perfect. The good price does leave a bit of room for error but it will be nice to have it all fitting properly. I expect some really good HP from this new GT wheel.
Also, I just took the mani off and had all the flanges machined so there should be no leaks anymore. Ron said He would do it but I am to far away. The machinist new it was from My RX7 and all it cost was 24 cold beer for the shop. So Ron if I ever get down there Beer is on you. Greddy, APexi, custom T-72, and now Davinchi.
All the kits come with different parts and none are the same. Some might have the BOV and an intake where others do not. My last T-72 mani was built very well and will last forever but the Guy that made it was very hard to get ahold of and never did get Me all the parts I bought. Ron seems like a good Guy. They really messed up My T-72 upgrade but they have done everything they could to get Me going again. Sometimes good people skills will take a company a long way. They have made some minor mistakes with there kits but now they know what to do. I think the price they are selling them for is reason enough to buy it. You could start piecing these kits together but there are always problems like fittment and missing certain things. The bottom line is that the price is good, and the fittment is good (Now anyways). How much HP different kits make is a up to the tuner not the kit. I would bet if You took the best made mani and DP and used the same turbo on a cheaper mani and DP like the Davinchi there would be only a few HP difference. How long the mani and DP will last is another story but from looking at the Davinchi parts they will hold up long enough for the use I put them through. If strength is a worry get some supports made. They answer the phone and get things done to help You out. I will post some dyno numbers soon and hopefully You will see some nice numbers. I have ran 16 PSI and pig rich as I have not had much time to tune. It pulls very hard and suprising that it pulls almost as hard up top as the T-72. After I pull some fuel I will be tuning to 20 Plus @ 10.5 AFR. With My new fuel pump 16 PSI is 56% injector duty so 22 should be a safe number with the WI. |

I am pretty sure that the turbo is not seated down against the manifold and that is the cause of my leak. The fit was extremely tight and I belive that the bolts may be cockeyed. So I am going to open the holes on the turbo some and get the flange pedistol machined flat. After all that I will go back to Demetrious to resume tunning. |

Well, I ordered an Authentic HKS wastegate from RX7Trix. I did not bother contacting Davinchi as I didn't feel like i was getting anywhere with them. Unless I wanted them to send me another POS wastegate that is. So the new wastegate should be here Friday. Aso Rikki was over the other day and noticed my fuel system was not holding pressure and I belive that I know why. (remember in keiths rails how to when he tells you to replace the bottom nut from the AWS block off and put in a panhead screw?) Anyway I need to do that because it's preventing my injectors from seating and creating a proper seal. That might be why the car stalls out on occasion. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png Other than that I will pull everything back off this weekend, drill the holes out on the exducer housing so I can get that to seat properly then mount the new wastegate. That should just about do it. Of coarse there is still some more tunning to be done.
