Dave, remember the compressor housings position can be manipulated if needed. Just loosen the 6 13mm bolts on the back of it and you can spin it around.

DAMN that looks SAWEEEEET. It'll run like a MOFO. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I run an HKS wastegate of similar design Davipoo. No issues.

The wastegate looks like an HKS standard. 40mm valve, but with a 32 outlet. I think it's to small personally. I used it and had really bad boost creep. The 50mm version would be a much better match.

Cool beans. I hope that this all works and I do not have to buy anything else for at least a few months. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

Another question, anyone think that I will have issues If I remove the metal hard line for the heater core that runs along the fender there and use just straight up hose instead of the metal jonx? I will get better clearance with that line outta the way so I intend to not use it there. Also where does one hook up a boost controller to a single?

vosko 06-16-2004 06:03 PM

i would leave the metal line it won't get hard like the rubber will from all that heat!

the boost controller hooks up to the vacuum nipple on the wastegate

That metal hard line is an A/C line that is going to the evaporator, not a heater hose. Do you have your A/C still? If so then bend it a little or just leave it alone.

no, theres a heater line down there too. it's the one that runs form the water neck to the heater core.
