hello guys!

Last year i dynoed my car at 23psi and made 529rwhp with a t78 powered full bridgeport engine.

at that point i thougt the backpressure became to high, the EGT's began to rise, and couldnt get the boost higher. i'm running a 3" exhaust, with 2 mufflers and the wastegate welded in to the downpipe..

soooo.... would i see more power(at hte same boost), and faster spoolup with a 4inch exhaust?

regards,stig

You will see a lot faster spool up. Chances are the top end( past 5.5K rpms) will pickup at least 25rwhp in your setup( half bridge at those power levels), especially since your w/g is rerouted...

thanks!

i think I'll got this route, not for the power, but to get the temperature down, and get my EGT's under better control.. things are getting hot under the bonnet

a faster spool in not bad either, and i would probably change the LIM to a xcessive manifold to get even EGT's and flow at the same time, then its dyno-time again love the Dynapack, a friend of mine got one, so have free dyno-sessions
