OMP lines were put on last night replacing the bandaged, tortured stock units. The heat shield is on as well and it works. You can literally touch the top of the shield when the car is fully warmed and it's only warm to the touch.

Now that my OMP oil leak is solved, I thought I was set to go. The bad news is that it looks like my rear oil seal is blown as it's dripping a bit of oil around the turbine clamp and onto my headers. Just dumped a bunch of money on things like rear diffusers, air filters, pumps, OMP lines, injectors, rails, and a bunch more stuff....so I may acquire a plain bearing GT40 to replace the current turbo. Anyone have a good price on this unit?

leaky, broken OMP line to Rear rotor cost me my last motor, Wore down the apex seals and the rear rotor compression in less than 8k miles.

I can get you the GT40 turbo for around $900 depending on what compressor wheel you're looking for. They offer either 82mm or 88mm compressor wheel 50 or 54 trim. I think the 82mm is the same as the GT3540 wheel. (not exactly sure how they get these dimension since GT3540 is basically a 61mm wheel.

I always run a bit of premix just in case so that may have saved me...haven't lost any vacuum at idle and she's running strong despite the weak turbo.

I'm interested in the 88mm wheel as that's what I have grafted onto the front of my T78 now :-) Still debating between BB and non-BB. I'm using a GReddy manifold, an older "SPR" version that has larger runners and is not fully divided. I'm worried that the Garrett w/the 88mm wheel and the .94 rear housing might not spool well without the BB CHRA. I have no idea how the Garrett rear housing compares size wise to the T78's housing.
