They were brand new lines from Mazda actually...guess I'll be ordering a set from Gotham :-) Luckily I also use premix for safety reasons. two stroke synthetic Pennzoil Marine. No smoke. Comes in a yellow container and you can buy it at Walmart fairly cheaply.

BUT,

you most likley have the OMP still enabled (which lubracates the seals for you)

So no worries there. Premix is for people without the OMP.

oops i thought that is what she was asking what happens with no OMP and no Premix https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Steve, just ordered your stainless OMP lines and a turbine heat shield (for a T78, hope it fits). I also asked for you guys to send replacement alternator/water pump belts for the GReddy pulley kit (FD) if you have them. I'm heading out for London, England in about 5 minutes and I'll be back on Friday. I really need the OMP lines by Friday if possible. Thanks for the head's up as I was going to try and have them made locally (which is always a PITA where I live).

Just ordered the OMP lines as well. Along with the clutch line. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

the only bad part of those SS lines are that you can not be certain that there is oil reaching the oil injectors. THat is the reason the OEM lines are transparent

What a really good idea for those still using the omp.

TRUE,

But it's not like you can just look under there and tell.. By looking at mine (Which haven't been used in a while) you'd think there's oil running through them right now! LOL You have a good point though.. But I think it would be hard to tell (after a few uses) if there was a clog or not.

Plus, I'm steel braided crazy... Just plain love the ****! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Oh, and gotham is great to deal with. I love the way they keep me informed of my order! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
