i Just did a motor swap from an 89 n/a to a 89 turbo 2.. i hooked up a boost gauge and took it for a test drive and it wont boost the vacuum hits zero and no boost? it also has a steady 30psi vacuum at idle..is that bad? Checked ever were for a vacuum leak but cant find one... anyone got any ideas?

thanks for your time

30psi vacum at idle???????????????? either that is the strongest motor i have ever heard of or your gauge is wrong or its installed in a improper location. as far as it only hitting 0 on the gauge wich is atmosphieric id say you might have a charge pipe off. check the location of the place you put the vacum connection. you may need to move it.
