RE4 how often would you see an RX-4 on the road? I consider seeing a FB a rare sight.

I own the only Rx-4 in the area, possibly the only one in the state. I see an Rx-2 every now and then (my friends), and a REPU everywork day (<---- same friend).

FDs are extremely rare, only one or two in the Boise area.

The upside to living here is that Ada County(Boise) is the only county that has smog regulations that are not that bad. So, daily I see dozens of FBs and FCs, a multitude of well kept classic cars, and far too many buzz bomb ricers.

There are TONS of RX-8's in my area. Rikki's for one. There is a black one, silver, couple red's. I don't really wave to them, since I don't enjoy getting into accidents.
you dont have a running rx7 anymore, that could also be why they

arent waving at you, unless they are passing your driveway?

The only 7's I see around here are lapping PIR. But I agree about some other 8 owners. I have waved to probably 15 different 8 drivers and only one returned the wave.

these guys dont even know what our cars are, much less know the signifigance of theirs. not long before selling my car to me in '01 my uncle tried to explain the rotary to me, it went pretty much like this:

"yeah instead of pistons its got 4 square things that turn in the engine."

he and my aunt had bought the car new in 89.

Funny, I always wave at any rotary vehicle. I get return waves occassionally, but I think the worst are miata drivers: they NEVER wave back (old and don't care), except the rare cute college hottie enthusiasts. but they're few and far between.

I have been known to chase down an fb or fd though.

And yes, I am jealous that I don't have an fd. One day my collection will be complete!! muhhhahahhahaaa!!!
