I don't know what you guy's are complaining about. At least you've got a car to wave at people with rotors.
When I had mine, people always waved and I always waved back.

Hey Judge,
Have you strengthened up your tranny in your 8 at all since blowing it up um... what 2 or 3 times now? hehe. I'm curious to hear what customizations you've made to it. Plus, how on earth did you destroy the drive shaft?! I remember reading that someplace else on here.

And it's true...most RX8 drivers don't know what they have, they just think it's cool they are driving a new expensive car they saw on TV...

In the past two months I've had 3 RX8 encounters...
Two I was passing by slowly going the other way in traffic...each of us going maybe 20mph. I waved...they could not have missed me because they looked right at me...absolutely no response from them.
Last week I was pulling through the drive through at my bank. As I was rounding the parking lot a bright yellow RX8 pulls in with a female driver. She pulled up right next to me in line...I looked over about to wave...no response. As I pulled away and she heard my louder car she looked...and I looked back...shaking my head in disbelief at her non-acknowledgment.
I was really really tempted just to ask "hey, nice car...what motor does it have?" And wait for a comment from her like: "oh, a V6...I think?"
I'm just waiting for the day I get to line up with one in my T2...and I hope its some cocky older guy. Good gawd how I'd love to ruin his day

The carbon fiber driveshaft was so twisted inside the output shaft of the tranny it would not come loose and it had to be cut off.
