Funny, I always wave at any rotary vehicle. I get return waves occassionally, but I think the worst are miata drivers: they NEVER wave back (old and don't care), except the rare cute college hottie enthusiasts.

The 8s I see in my town are usually rich old farts. I talked to one guy with an 8, and we started talking about my 7 and he gave it tons of complements. So he was cool. I've also talked to some cool folks with 1st gens. But not many with an 8 will even know a 7 if they saw it on the road, and if you tell them, they just think its a 10 or 12 year old car. As long as FD owners know what they have, who cares what stupid people think.
