i think alot of things that are gona go wrong with the rx8 are gona be because of people not knowing about the motor . i was haning out out side my job talking to a friend then someguy gets in his rx8 this was when it was 15 out side very cold and he revs the **** out of his car .

When it's 15 degreesF out, you don't get into ANY car and race the cold motor. that's just stoopid.

yeah it is after that i went onto rx8club and told them about reving it when its cold and braking in the motor but on one seemed to care.

Dunno when ya posted that, but if it was anytime in the past 6 months, it was probably quickly ignored as another newbie asking or posting the same info over and over again. In the past year it's been brough up at least once a month, if not way more.



ENgine limits at 6700RPM (my car) when cold. But then again, it's not like it ever drops below 45 here anyways. Warmup takes maybe a minute most days.
