Ok. I starting to think that an Rx8 wouldn't be a good company car.
There been no responces. I wont be carrying anything in the car. I just need a good car to go from site to site with architechs and Engineers to inspect sites.

All I can say was that my RX8 purchase was not a rational one. It was pure emotion. Ever since selling my last rotary in 2000, I felt a void in my life. I wanted another rotary. I wanted a new one too. The RX8 came out last summer and I bought it. It kinda bothers me when people try to rationalize the purchase of an RX8. They compare it to practical everday cars. That's wack. Getting into it with that mindset is all wrong. First you'll bitch the first time you flood it. Then you'll bitch and moan when it gets 15-18 mpg. It's a very unique machine. I guess I'm not the typical owner. To me it was a passionate purchase. I love my car. I don't ever plan on getting rid of it. I'm the old-school type of guy that just happens to own a new car.
Sooooo......I say get it, but only if you'll appreciate it for how unique the driving experience is. Don't buy it because it looks cool, or is the new thing. If you plan on only having a short term, just skip it and get something else...
I think I got too emotional there.....

Dont get an RX8 for a company car. Get a big truck. A new f150 mabe, or Ram. They have lots of room inside, Full 4 doors, and are much more practical for transporting people from job site to job site.
Like Black8 said, the RX8 is not your average car. And from the sounds of it you are in need of an average car. If you going to use it for business, don't get an 8.
IMO, i don't really like the new 8, far to many design ideas all thrown into one car. But its nice to see a new rotary out there. Cant wait for the new RX7

I'm with you TT
I went and drove the thing to see what a "new" one would be like...Have to say I was utterly disappointed. Could have been a problem with the car, we got a check engine light and it was sputtering a bit. Shut it off, and that reset the computer, but it seemed kind of gutless. Nice high rpm perfomance, but never any RUSH!
Nice chasis, great gear box, but get Mazdaspeed to work on that motor!
