i personally like the sony wegas and rca's

rca has a special VPort for the XBOX console which make it more interesting than Sony's but for some reasons, RCA sounds cheap to my hear....i'll go check them out tomorrow and see how they perform....

please comments of your flat screen tv's please

I've got a 29" sony wega and it kicks ***. A little pricey compared to your normal tv's, but the quality is so much better.

Ahhh yes....I am over here thinking you were talking about Plasma screens. Anyway....Flat Screen Tv's are the way to go. I am very picky with my electronics and I am very dissapointed with sony. THey Still call their TV's Trinatrons when in fact they only make like 2 true models of them. I went to sears and looked at all of them and only 2 of them were the real thing. I don't understand this... But if I had to pick the two go witht he Sony just because RCA isn't that good of a brand! If it is just going to be a TV you use for the bedroom to watch the news and stuff then get the RCA. But if you are going to be using it alot then get the Sony. Not to be pushy but take a look at the Toshiba's. You cant go wrong with one of them.

Yes...sadly it is. When you buy them it has the life span in the spec list. Usually said in hours. They are very fragile and you have to be very pricey for a good one. Picture quality is only good on the high dollar ones. Philips is not one of the high dollar one either.

Go with the SONY 27". I got one right after Christmas and im not dissapointed one bit. They had it on sale at Circuit City for $479, it was around $500 before sale, and I think they are still the same price. There is a Panasonic one for the same price, but the color just doesn't compare with the Sony. Hook up a DVD player or video games into the component video input and you will be amazed at how nice they look. Just remember that the hookup at circuit city or best buy is probably only using the yellow video input jack!

vegas, they're Vegas....like the car.

also i dont know how everyone feels about sony, but believe it or not lately their electornics division has been ailing in quality, i used to have a write-up for the most stury/reliable and best "bang for the buck" type factor but the site is dead now, at least the link is.

Sony is way overpriced, and way too hyped up, just like their car audio divison was....hell thir Desktop PC's were recalled because they had something that basically made a freeway into your computer via a tiny like 100kb program. Gotta find the write-up for that too somewhere.

Thank god they canned the Xplod Mobile line finally.
