Ditto.....all we need is for the 7 name to be ruined by what used to be a great company

Well, they could always just retire the 'RX-7' name and go with something like RX-9 or some ****..

I said it before. I hope they do not return with the RX-7. Considering they are putting together a half assed attempt.

The Type R Bathurst is the perfect way to end a product line with a bang.

If I owned a RX-8 I would DEMAND they treat this in the same manner Ford treated the Cobra with the HP defecit. I would demand they find me my missing HP. If it means rechipping the ECU and adding some exhaust improvements so be it. Mazda is treating this like "Yup you got us, heres $500 now go away".

I personally feel that is an unacceptable compromise. I know Mazda lost my business. I am starting to think my Mini Cooper S Works addition might give the RX-8 a good run. At least it was $6K less.

yall are right, they are in denial, especially the administrator BOOSTD7. any little negative rx-8 comment from a user with few posts and he will threaten eviction from the forum. it's gay, they are in denial.

i'd be mad. i pay for a car that backs up what it produces, not something that the company has to pretend with so it can keep up with the competition.

this is a lie, and they have covered it up. the people on rx8forum are suggesting that they did not testing on a US spec car, they just took a jspec car, added US emissions and ECU changes, and sold it.

I CALL BS! they did test it, they found it lower, and lied to keep sales alive and ride off the higher power numbers of the jspec model until they HAD to fess up.

i'd rather have a car that errs my understating HP, where i get more than i payed for than less.
