The SRT-4?? Never knew that.

I felt the difference with that AWD ****, too heavy for me. On to some other cars now. I think I will just stick with an FD, it is more work to make it more reliable, but it will be a HELL of alot cheaper than a new car would be.

In the end you've just gotta do what you WANT to do. You can't take someone else's opinion and make it work for you.

Updated: I said **** getting a car and bought an 05 Jeep Wrangler X. I needed something I could drive all year round in, and have fun with it too. Soon enough it'll be a mud slinging, rock crawling son of a bitch.

[quote name='Fe3Boost' date='May 26 2005, 12:47 PM']Well if you get an 8 just turbo it and forget the FD. I have not missed a beat since turbocharging .

Your Rx-8 with a turbo and a Nos kit wouldn't save from seeing nothing but tail lights going against an lightly modified FD. Hell with your turbo you couldn't handle a stock FD. A Greddy build car was only getting 14.4's so stop over stating your case and work on getting that engine rebuilt and take it the track.

Assuming you can find one and you can get to good tuner you'll be much happier with an FD at least from a performance stand point. If you're looking for a daily driver consider the RX-8 or something else. Up keep on an FD that's paid for can be like a car payment not to mention the price of gas at around 15 mpg and 40+ to fill it up. I would go for something reliable if nice if I were in you.
