Yeah, that yellow is a love/hate thing. I love it. Anyway, my car goes in tommorrow and should be done at the end of the day...I will be updating...

this is not a torsen like the FD's had. its a tochigi fuji torsen...... different maybe that is the problem....

Man, it felt like forever, but I finally got my baby back.....all is well again. The new diff is silent and works great. Feels so friggin good to have my car back....

You know its the same tranny in the 6 speed miata right? That tranny is barely adequate for the n/a miatas. They were having problems breaking them. And the mazdaspeed miata has shot peened gears for durability, with its 178 hp and 166 ft lbs. But the RX8, to my knowledge, doesnt have the shot peened gears.
