Hi, I'm new to rotary engines and I'm about to plunk down some $$ on a new RX-8. I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing because I know very little about rotary engines and all.

I drove the car and loved the way it revved and the handling is awesome, along with the six speed.

I already did some research and I know that they burn oil as part of regular maintenance and that regular 5W20 oil is recommended because synthetic won't burn as complete.

What else should i be aware of before I make the final commitment?

I also like the idea of putting the Greddy turbo kit on at some point. How well does the car hold up to that?

Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

My buddy has the turbo kit on his car. It's a really nice kit. Everything fits really well. The power increase is nice. You will like it with the turbo kit alot.
