Well as the last snow storm has taught me, an RX-7 is not the most practical daily driver for this area, so I must get rid of this car for something more practical. The car is a 1986 Mazda rx7 with 32,000 on the odometer (actually 31,908 as of this morning). The guy that owned it before me was very **** about maintaining this car. In fact, I have service receipt and every oil change receipt this car had while he owned it. I even still have the window sticker and original keys (it is a gxl with the 2+2 seating option).



I bought this car about 4 weeks ago, in hopes of using it as a daily driver and eventually restoring it. The interior is completely functional and every button/light still works. In preparation for inspection, I purchased two new front tires. The rear cambers a little, which I have been told is from 20 year old, springs sagging. The suspension control stuff is still functional. Keep in mind that the car sat most of it's life so the outside does have faded paint and the driver fender has a little dent and the bottom of the fender has a rust hole about the size of a quarter.



The car starts up and idles perfectly, and has been a great car to drive, but I’m going to stick with a fwd car for daily driving. I paid $3k for this car a couple of weeks ago, therefore I think it’s only reasonable to ask for that amount (especially since I bought two new front tires for it only a week ago.) If someone is willing to pick it up this week, I will even drop the price to 2900 (firm), as I need the money to make a down payment on something a little more practical ASAP.
