OK, so I'm selling this MINT 1986 Cabrio VIN#WVWCA0154GK010050 5 speed Red with black top, and black/grey interior, and 39k original miles. So basically what happened was that it used to belong to a lady, and she had left it at a garage to get some regular maintenance done on it, the lady died, and never came back for the car, so it sat at my friends shop until he went out of business, he sold it to me, and basically now I have the car. I borrowed a battery and put it on the car to drive it home, while I was at it, I checked everything, and everything works fine, drives great, A/C blew cold, no leaks. The top has no holes or tears in it at all, the interior cloth is perfect with no rips either. Now for the bad part, when I liened the car, since the storage fees added up to more than what the car was worth in book, NYS DMV is now calling it a 907car, so basically you can do 2 things, send away for the application for inspection(Which the car will pass with flying colors cause everything in it is original) then recieve the title, or you can use all the parts from this car to fix or repair your own Cabrio(Which is really sad cause this car is in such nice shape). Ask me for pics, and I will send them to you. I'm kinda dissapointed at what happened cause I love this car, and the shape it's in. Once the paint is buffed out you won't find another Cabrio in this shape from this year, I guarantee it, If you put the car on a lift you'll see the underside still looks new! BUT I don't have the time to go through the hassle, and I need the space in the driveway. Asking $800, come see the car, and you'll understand. I'm located in Elmont, if you want I can send you pics, just make sure your email server can recieve alot of memory, cause it's about 30pics, and when I try to send to Yahoo or Hotmail accounts it doesn't let me due to emai size, with AOL accounts I have no problem though.
