My motor is toast!

I was wondering if there is anyone here registered with Mazdaspeed motorsports development who would be willing to get me a set of FD housings, a front rotor and a crankshaft. I would be happy to pay some "thank you fee" as well as shipping.

Thanks!

Isn't that is against the membership agreement? Why not become a member yourself and race the car now and then?

or order them from dave lemon ( mazdatrix.com ) . im a tech for a mazda dealer and also crew chief for a road race team who is regestered with mazdamotorsports. the price that i get from my work is 10% over coast wich is what mazdamotorsports sells parts to racers for and mazdatrix prices are within that price range aswell.

I know of shops who buy parts for customers under the program so I thought I would ask.

My FD has not ran for 5-6 months. I do not know when, or even relatively when it will run again so I have to wait.

"If your race car is currently under construction, the race results requirement will be temporarily waived if you can provide a copy of your racing club membership card (SCCA, NASA, etc.). You will be required to provide a completion date for the first race you plan to compete in. You will need to provide race results from your first event within 30 days after the competition."

They are pretty flexible with the completion date, and you can even extend it if need be. As long as you're serious about racing or doing some auto cross they shouldn't care too much how long you take to get it finished. I've gone about a year and a half beyond when I figured my car would be ready to auto cross.(Working by myself, life and other people's stuff getting in the way...)

I don't plan on being very competitive with this car, against other NA models maybe. Doing auto cross will make me a better driver and really help dial the car in to the best it can be.
