Is there any purpose of haveing an FPR on stock injectors?

Yes it maintains fuel pressure.

Fpd? Is that the pulsation dampener on fds? Anyone ever notice a long term effect of removing that? I've done it before on cars, but never had the cars around long enough to see any side effects..

no probs what so ever, it must have been the one thing Ford insisted on putting in there LOL
