the only thing that i can imagine that you would be talking about would be the airbox on the left front side of the engine bay

now i see what youre talking about, it has a rad cap and a hose to the water pump. hmm idk

Water-to-air intercooler I'm guessing?

Ok... in this pic i see a big *** airbox, with the cap for the overflow tank sticking up thru it... and that hose you see is coming from the airpump.

It's an airbox.

if you look closely to the right of that hose GreyGT-C is talking about you can see the rad cap on the block and the tube from that going to the front of the car, the rad is still in front, that's just an air box as everyone else said

Thats one whacky HC Luce........

You can see he has swapped the 13B-T engine for a 13B-REW.

I'd say it the radiator cap for a custom system. He must have off sett the radiator to get the intercooler piping through on the left hand side.

This was discussed before, I don't know whether it was right or wrong but someone suggested it might have an air to water intercooler.
